Full Circle was composed as a gift for Amanda Buchholz and the North Oldham High School Band. The piece was written for a solo and ensemble competition for two members of the band, Joanna Feng and Lily Cothran . It was written for high school level players and/or amateurs.
Full Circle is in a simple, ABA' form – fast, slow, fast – with energetic outer sections and a mysterious sounding middle section.
