IGNITE for concert band (grade 4-5)

Explosive and muscular with plenty of fireworks, Ignite also features a lyrical section for trombones (m.53-70) and a moment of featured percussion (m.97-103). Variations of the opening fanfare (m.1-13) recur (m.35-39, m.103-110, and m.118-125). This music is also developed in brief interludes (such as m.46-51 and m.88-96). Heroic horn-led music is featured in m.23-27 as well as in the Coda (m.142-end), which brings a powerful conclusion.
